Are YOU a 'Student of Knowledge'? We all are to some degree - however big or small. If you work on this friendship and stay loyal it will be with you always insha'Allah!
"Knowledge (Ilm) is a comforting friend in times of loneliness, it is the best companion during travels, & it is the inner friend who speaks to you in your privacy." Mua’dh ibn Jabal (RA) Cherish your friend :) The best of teachers, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
“Carry on doing (good) deeds, for each person will find it easy to do such deeds as will lead him to his destined place for which he has been created. So, he who is destined to be among the happy (in the Hereafter), will find it easy to do the deeds characteristic of such people...” Bukhari A week before 28th March 2010 I started to fall ill - very, very ill. I was going to enter my fourth decade in this world and I fell ill. I was preparing to leave this world. After many tests and hospital visits, a week before Ramadan 2010 I got better and all tests came back negative. Life is just too, too short! And I decided to make the best of it and my calling in life was revealed to me; 'We Be Inspired' was born on March 28th 2011 - the same date Allah (swt) Willed for me to enter this world! Your love, duas, support means everything to me! We Be Inspired is 1 year old today - JazaakAllah Khairun to ALL of YOU - WBI Family! Jzks for being part of my world - you're truly treasured! Re-read the hadith above and Be Inspired to do the best in this world and prepare for your best akhira insha'Allah as Allah (swt) created YOU the best and wants YOU to do the best! :) ..."We are not powerless specks of dust drifting around in the wind, blown by random destiny. We are, each of us, like beautiful snowflakes – unique, and born for a specific reason and purpose." Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
And let's not forget our ultimate purpose which Allah created for us. He (swt) says; "And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)" [Qur'an 51:56] Let's make sure our unique purpose is aligned with our ultimate purpose and iA only then will we succeed both in this world and next. Always positive? Always negative? Always in between? Or always confused?
Always wondering why the same thing happens over and over again - especially the negatives? "Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life." Anthony Robbins So basically, YOU are what YOU think you are! Let's fix our mind and what we feed it daily and then insha'Allah everything else will get fixed! Because God helps those who help themselves! :) Actions come from Intentions, so let's continuously keep check on our intentions so our actions are not harming our souls.
To err is to human and to forgive Divine but He az wajal has given us aql - intellect to choose between right and wrong. We will never reach perfect as 'perfection' belongs to Allah alone however we can continuously check ourselves. The mind is an extremely powerful organ and it acts on what we feed it. Let's try and be more concious with our thoughts and what we feed our mind so we purify our intentions and our actions can be purified insha'Allah. ...In life we're not defined by the kind of problems we have, but by how we handle them!
How do YOU handle your problems? Its ok to have a 'pitty party' - feeling sorry for oneself and letting those emotions out but don't allow it to take over! Remember Allah says in the Qur'an; 'Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope'. This simply means that whatever comes our way Allah already knows we can handle it - He's looking for our reactions - will we be grateful or ungrateful, will we curse or endure with patience, will we wallow in pitty or look for solutions. Let's not disappoint our Creator and let's not be defined by our problems but be defined by those who handle with patience and peserverance. ...Sometimes we just take too long in making our decision! We can't decide between A or B. But by hovering over A and B for too long won't get you the answer but will leave you even more confused. It usually is just A or B and not both! So be courageous and listen to your soul and take a chance. Stop hovering over A and B and land your helicopter on one only - the sooner you do the happier you'll be. Why so afraid? What you have to lose? Take a chance now - otherwise you might end up making the wrong choice. Keep tawakul in Allah and trust me he'll guide your helicopter to the right helipad! So which will it be? A or B?
...Wondering 'Why Me?' God will give you the same lesson over and over again - until you understand the lesson and are ready to move on! Sometimes we let our emotions really take over and we lose focus. Its ok to cry and let it out but don't let it take over your rational thinking because then we won't be able to see the answers, right? :)
...If you don't ask you won't know!
That's my simple rule in life. Yes, some may laugh at you for asking a 'silly' question but you won't be 'silly' when you find the answers and those answers help you make positive changes in your life. In fact - you'll be very happy and content. Your soul will be at ease and peace. Whereas if you don't ask you'll always be restless and always ask; 'What If'! And you'll never get any closer to your answer! This 'What If' is a breeding ground for shaytaan. So don't feed him with your what ifs! Today be courageous and ask that question you've always wanted to ask - no more what ifs! And it is the courageous ones who succeed in life! You have everything to gain and nothing to lose...say Bismillah and Just Go For It! :) |
