...Isn't it amazing that when we pray our Salah our Rabb focuses on us and is answering us and if we have khushu we can feel the sweetness and the love of our Creator for us and our love for Him. I mean how many people praying at one specific time - yet He devotes His attention to us as an individual. Like a mother and daughter could be praying together or a father and son together or in congregation but He still sees us and answers us as individuals - subhan'Allah!
So then which of our Lords favours will we deny? ...Don't be afraid to listen to your soul - it is speaking to you and guiding you. Don't be afraid to listen to your heart. Hand your heart over to Allah and ask Him to protect it - He (swt) will inspire your heart. All the answers lie within you. Don't be afraid to search within you...
Ever wondered why when you meet someone you either instantly 'click' or instantly 'run'?
...The Prophet (pbuh) said: "The souls are like armies gathered together, those who knew each other (in the other life), agree with each other (are inclined towards each other). Those who did not know each other, disagree." That is the reason why when you meet people in this life you either click with them or run from them! How cool is that? Those who click in this world used to chill together in Jannah! :D ...Keep Allah in your heart always. He is always there listening - to our deepest thoughts. Sometimes when we hurt we look to talk to someone - our loved ones. But sometimes they're just busy - like we are sometimes busy. Its natural. But Allah is never busy and He drops everything just to listen to us and hug us. Don't wait any longer. Close your eyes, focus and say 'I Love You Allah' and feel what you feel in your heart right now...feel that feeling in your soul right now. Allah's not busy ever and will always be here for us - always. Will we always worship Him and answer His call like He answers us? :)
...Never think or assume that you know everything because honestly, we don't and lying to our self leads to our own souls destruction! BUT be willing to learn, try and experience. Belief is fundamental! Believe you can do something and keep telling that to your conscious mind until your subconscious believes it also. Negative thoughts are destructive but we have to train ourselves to believe in new belief systems - that is; 'we can achieve and we will achieve' and always, always keep tawwakul in Allah! :)
The Prophet (salAllaahu alayhi wa salam) said: “The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks his promise and when he is entrusted he betrays the trust.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
Simple solutions: 1. Speak only good or remain silent. 2. Don't promise if you know (for whatever reason) you can't deliver and; 3. Don't take on a responsibility which you strongly feel you can't handle. Sounds really simple, I know! But we humans like to complicate things for ourselves. We think that the hadith mentions something 'light' and if we break a promise or lie then we can just tell the truth next time. But do we know if we will get a chance 'next time'? Let's always speak the truth or remain silent. Let's always fulfil our promises and let's always take our responsibilities seriously iA! What is great in sin?
"Arrogance, boasting and showing off are greater in sin than drinking alcohol." (Ibn Taymiyyah). This doesn't mean we justify the drinking of alcohol but we need to remember that arrogance, boasting, showing off not only ruin our daily day-to-day life and leave our souls in a state of unhappiness but also ruin our hereafter. Remember that Shaytaan was thrown out of Jannah because of arrogance - let's not allow arrogance to keep us out of Jannah! Are you just interested or fascinated?
"Fascination is one step beyond interest. Interested people want to know if it works. Fascinated people want to learn how it works." Jim Rohn Be interested but develop fascination and learn how things work! :) ...How do we want to be treated in this world - by our loved ones and all those who we meet in our lifetime? If you want love then love others, if you want respect then respect others, if you want to be treated kindly then treat others kindly, if you want to receive then learn to give, if you want compliments then give compliments, if you want honesty and sincerity in all your relationships then be honest and be sincere and if you want Allah then submit to His will - it all starts with each of us taking that first step iA! ♡
