Here's some quick soul therapy for you iA.
...We ALL have that inner 'Peter Pan' - that inner child who embraced creativity to learn and grow - that we buried as we got older! As a child you do things because you feel like it, you want to learn, you grow and you are happy. As an adult you want to justify everything and have a reason for doing it - otherwise its just crazy! This kills our creativity and our imagination - both can also lead to being unhappy (and boring!). Today do one thing which you did as a child or teen. Whatever it is from reading a book in the tree house, painting, gardening, lego, board games, go-karting, whatever - it has to be personal to YOU and what made YOU happy. Sound crazy? That's what adults always say - don't matter - just for one day be crazy and do something you always enjoyed doing when you were younger :) Have YOU discovered Your 'Unique Purpose' in life yet?
Are YOU ready to live and leave a legacy?? This moment is all you have - will YOU cease the moment??? 'Become an overtime sensation and not an overnight sensation, for over time you will leave a legacy whilst overnight you will fade away!' (Nadia WBI). But always remember to align all your thoughts, words and actions and never let go of that rope that holds you tight on to Allah. Seek and you shall find - ask Allah and He az wajal will guide you to your destiny iA. You only have one life in this world - chose your actions wisely, for your akhirah depends on it... 'Resolutions require only words. Results take action'.
So resolute and take action - for the only limitations are the ones we place on ourselves. Step out of your comfort-zone and do the one thing you always wanted to do or learn. If you want to achieve your goals then for each one break it down and make a step-to-step plan and do one thing right now to make that goal a reality iA. So, go on, resolute and take action to achieve those results to achieve your dreams. Do you remember when you were little and you had a dream to be something or someone great?
You knew without a shadow of doubt that you were special?? Forgotten your childhood dreams and all that you planned and imagined you would be one day??? ***Reflection Moment*** You can still be it if only you allow yourself and give yourself permission to be the best version of you. Those dreams you had as a child were not in vain but were trying to help you on your journey as you got older. Dream again - this time with your eyes open - and make your dreams come true. Allah is with you not against you! "You say that you are just a body, but inside of you is something greater than the Universe." Imam Shafi (rahimullah) You can also be someone great or achieve something great. Don't just be inspired by our glorious past and the giants of Islam - but now its your turn to write history, to make history and to live history! It's not just passion, energy and 'I-know-how-to-goal-set-to-achieve' attitude we need in life - but we need DESIRE!
It needs to be deep-rooted within our heart and soul. We need to plant the seed of desire in ourselves if we want to achieve.
