'Every Soul Shall Taste Death!'. This is our daily reminder. This is the ONLY truth and ONLY ultimate reality. We are not meant to be here forever. We're on a journey. We are travellers. Our ultimate destination is the next life - Heaven or Hell. This life is meant to bring ups and downs, tests and trials. The reality is that souls are departing this world at nano-seconds. Were they prepared? Are we prepared? Take your provision for the journey - but let's not get too comfortable. We don't want to lose our next life because we were too focused on this life!

...Live with Passion - because THAT is when you can achieve all your goals for deen, duniya and akhirah - insha'Allah! :)
...If you want to reach for something new then you have to throw away the junk you're holding first. What you waiting for? NOW is all YOU have!
He who has no one has Allah and He who has Allah has everything! Go out there today and give it your best - in everything - deen and duniya - worship and worldly affairs (work/study/biz) and have a blessed Friday. Remember, you're already a multi-billionaire - if you have Allah! Do good, be good and have good! :) ♥
...In the light of the current events which have taken place in Gaza and continue to happen across the globe, there is a lesson to learn. And that lesson is one of urgency. Do not give up on your daily prayers, daily Qur'an recitation and study, daily dhikr, daily duas morning and evening. No excuses and 'i'm busy with x, y and z' is not an excuse - remember who it is that gave you this life in the first place and know that to Him is our return! Have a sense of urgency in our daily ibaadah - worship - and become active in helping those around us. Firstly help yourselves, study hard at school, college, university. Education does not stop there! You are never, ever too old to learn or study! Learn every single day. Yes passion is excellent but use passion in the correct way. Be prepared. Have a plan. Work hard. Don't become keyboard warriors but true warriors of this beautiful deen Islam! ♥
...None of us are guaranteed the next moment. Many have gone before us thinking they had a long life ahead - procastinating in ibaadah, work, studies. It's ok to relax, chill and have some down time because as humans we need this. But always remain focused and always remember the end goal. The Angel of Death won't SMS us before his arrival. Let's be in a state of shahadah when its time to leave insha'Allah ♥
...Keep it simple. Keep it moderate. Keep it balanced. Deen and duniya. We're put on this world and Allah had blessed us with all the tools and resources to help us be the better us - to advance in all spheres - to truly excel and achieve greatness. We cry about our glorious past. Yes it was glorious! They had so much less and achieved so much more. We have so much more yet we achieve mediocrity. Now's the time. Don't sit there and wonder no more. Make this moment a glorious moment insha'Allah!
Its the new trend and if you've got it then your at the top end!
"The term originated in an IBM study...Turns out that ambition alone is mediocre; ambition plus intellectual humility is the winning combination. Humbition is made up partly of ambition: being really fired up, energized, and evaluating yourself highly in terms of the impact you might be able to have on your team, in your organization, on the world around you. And then, humbition is also having a genuine sense of intellectual humility.” So...STOP being mediocre and get into ExCel mode! Become Humbitious in everything that you do - both deen and duniya! ...In both your deen and duniya. You need to believe it and then act upon your belief, iA!
"A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals." Larry Bird Allah has blessed YOU immensely. So be thankful and grateful and utilise all your skills today to achieve something great insha'Allah! In today's world we are too competitive.
Healthy competition is good. It keeps those creative juices flowing. But when all our energy is focused on just competing with others then we don't live our own lives fully. Don't compete with others but compete with yourself. How? Whatever you do in your deen or duniya start doing more. Add a little on each day. If you pray all your fard then start praying your sunnah. Compete with yourself to better yourself. Look up to those who are doing more and better than you. Be inspired and motivated by them to create your own perfect life and to prepare for your best akhirah iA. You only have one life in this world - don't waste it competing and living someone else's - be the best version of YOU! Give 150% to everything you do. |
