...Don't let anyone else's negative words, thoughts, actions and beliefs become your reality - for the One who created You believes in you and that's all that matters - believe in yourself. It may be hard at first. But try anyway. You owe it to yourself. I believe in you!

...Do we desire the pleasure of people over the pleasure of Allah? All actions and intentions are for Allah alone - especially our worship (ibaadah). Its easy to fall into the 'Am I good enough for others?' trap and then try to please others. We're human and we will go through this. You might be going through it now. But we need to work on it daily to overcome it as well as help each other to overcome it. Let's make this our daily reflection action insha'Allah :)
...Start the day with the right intention. Actions come from intentions. Make an intention of what you want to do and achieve and then go work on that full on and when you make your intention make sure you add in there 'And God is the best of all planner - I have tawakul in Him'.
...Give yourself a break sometime. Each of us only has 24 hours in a day and in that 24 hours we take in so much information, news, facts etc. It can become overwhelming for the mind, body and soul. Take time out and spend it reflecting whilst sitting or walking outside - spend time with nature, it'll comfort your heart and soul insha'Allah.
...Taking responsibility for our words, thoughts, feelings and actions is truly liberating - it frees our soul! So stop the blame game and the excuses! We need to take responsibility for our lives and what we do with it. We have a choice. So let's make dua to Allah to guide us to the right choices insha'Allah :)
To make positive changes in your life you have to take daily positive action.
The prophet peace be upon him said: "Whosoever pursues a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will thereby make easy for him a path to Paradise." (Muslim) Seek knowledge and become a student of personal positive development and your life will improve for the better daily iA. Ever been put down by people around you? I mean, you said or did something and they completely misunderstood you? Did it hurt? It does hurt - it cuts deep. But you have to remain calm and just say; 'your perception is not my reality!' Because it truly is not. AND likewise we shouldn't judge anyone either because our perception of their world is not their reality. We all perceive things differently - so the sooner we realise this the sooner we'll be able to heal broken hearts and souls insha'Allah...
...The art of mastering anything/any field is to give yourself (enough) time and sure enough you shall have it mastered! Be patient and be persistent. No one said it would be smooth sailing or a clear road ahead. There's always bumps. But its these same bumps which teach us valuable lessons. What works for you, works for you - simple. What works for others may not work for you but be inspired and motivated by them. The Key: If you want it bad then don't give up, keep trying and lots of duas! :)
•Number 1 matters!
•Think about yourself! •Put yourself first! •Forget the rest! ...Etc, etc and etc! This is what we're always told and taught. And whilst it is good to care for oneself and work on one's own achievements - becoming selfish really doesn't do anything for our heart, soul, duniya and akhirah. We're left empty, lonely and unfulfilled. "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.” [Bukhâri] Whatever you want for yourself make sure you ask God to bless all your loved one's with the same and more. It's part of our emaan, deen and strengthens society. By becoming a selfless giver you receive more - you receive barakah - you receive duas in abundance and you'll feel content inside. Have a Blessed Friday and give a little today - duas for everyone, everywhere insha'Allah :) Want to make positive changes in your world?
Change takes time - its a process - but it can be done iA. "Thoughts are the root of all behaviour. Before you can change your actions, you must change your thoughts. To change really means challenging your previous assumptions. It is impossible to keep all the same assumptions and still expect to effectively change." Robert Chen Take that all important first step and make some positive changes in your life iA! |
