*Reflection Moment*
I was holding my mus'haf in my arms and my 3 year old nephew said; 'Is that your iPad?' I smiled and hugged my mus'haf tighter and said; 'Yes it is!' ...Sometimes we can just over-think things. Sometimes we can talk about them forever. But if we want to make real and lasting positive changes in our life and if we want to get rid of those bad habits then we need to do more than think and talk. We need to act! You're doing it for yourself and your own life firstly - and then your loved ones (especially if it is something which also affects them too). Think it, talk about it but seriously take that first step and just go do it!. It is now or never. What's stopping you? Here's to your best life and best akhirah insha'Allah!
"Life and business is like the changing seasons. You cannot change the seasons, but you can change yourself. Therein lies the opportunity to live an extraordinary life - the opportunity to change yourself." Jim Rohn
*Sisters New Masterclass, The Pure Pearl - Story of Maryam (as) and lessons for Muslimah's today!* Tickets -http://www.webeinspired.com/the-pure-pearl-masterclass.html We are all a 'Role Model' for someone in our lives - so work on yourself daily to improve and enjoy learning! Who is your role model? What about our pious predecessors - who would you choose? I've got one too. She's a great woman of Islam and I'll be talking about her in our upcoming Masterclass!
...Believe in yourself and listen to your soul - it's speaking to you. Listen to your instincts. They will guide you to what you need to do and what you need to stay away from. Too many times we listen to others - and I know they mean well - but only YOU know what is right for YOU! Believe in YOU!
"Yearning for Allah and His meeting is like the gentle breeze blowing upon the heart, extinguishing the blaze of the world (Duniyah). Whosoever caused his heart to settle with his Lord shall be in a state, calm and tranquil, and whosoever sent it amongst the people shall be disturbed and excessively perturbed (anxious/unsettled)!" Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyyah
...To all the singletons - this is your time - right now - God has an awesome plan for you - it's for you to recognise what that is and work it. When the time is right your soul mate will be sent to you. Until then work daily on becoming a better human. You're already complete. Your soul mate will compliment you when s/he arrives. If you spend your time crying, worrying and being depressed because you're not married then know you're being ungrateful to each breath God has given you to live. This moment is all we have. Work it. God is the best of planners and trust Him.
...You always know what you want to be. We know this as children but somehow forget this as we grow up. Look back to your childhood what did you enjoy? I was always reading, writing, playing with my dolls and teddys, scheming businesses (yes, even before I was 10 year old!) and being a teacher to invisible children. I still remember my handbag, whistle and empty mug of coffee lol. I love writing and always knew I was going to be a writer amongst other things. I'm writing, teaching and helping people find their unique purpose. Know your purpose and you'll lead a life of peace and happiness
...Let's use our time wisely. We easily say; 'I have no time, I'm too busy, I wish I had more time' etc. However the thing is, we all have the same number of hours in our day. Its how we manage our life that our time is managed. Get a diary. Schedule things in. Make a 'do-list'. Hustle to manage your life and ask God to bless you in your time. Remember, we only have one life and each moment is our only moment!
