The great things and truths in life are the simple ones.
Moral: Keep It Simple! :)

...There is both lightness and darkness within us. There is both goodness and evilness. Chose light over dark and good over evil. Whatever is written in your qadr will come to you. Be patient and supplicate to the Almighty to shower His mercy on you.
...Don't compare yourself to anyone except yourself. Today make a promise that you will work on all areas in your life and improve - you will do better than what you do because you can do better iA - and you will make positive changes in your life. In the end it's just between you and God. There is only one of you - so why waste your life trying to be like someone else. Whatever you do - today you will do better iA!
The Prophet (salAllaahu alayhi wa salam) said: “The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks his promise and when he is entrusted he betrays the trust.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
Simple solutions: 1. Speak only good or remain silent. 2. Don't promise if you know (for whatever reason) you can't deliver and; 3. Don't take on a responsibility which you strongly feel you can't handle. Sounds really simple, I know! But we humans like to complicate things for ourselves. We think that the hadith mentions something 'light' and if we break a promise or lie then we can just tell the truth next time. But do we know if we will get a chance 'next time'? Let's always speak the truth or remain silent. Let's always fulfil our promises and let's always take our responsibilities seriously iA! ...We are NOT living in crazy or mad TIMES! Let's not blame that creation of God which is in His strict obedience - but let's blame the creation which has free will and is continuously disobedient to the Creator! Its people who have gone mad/crazy not Time!
A fantastic quote about depression, anxiety and peace.
See how it's linked to your past, your present and your future. If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present. Lao Tzu The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و آله و صحبه و سلم said:
"If you truly put your trust on Allah, He would provide you {sustenance} as He provides the birds; where they leave in the morning with an empty stomach and return back with a full stomach." {Musnad of Imam Ahmad & Sunan At-Tirmidhi} So, who will put all your trust in now? :) How do we deal with people? Are we kind and considerate or do we always want things our way only?
"The manner you deal with people in is the same manner Allah will deal with you, both in this world and the hereafter" (Ibn al-Qayyim). ***Reflection Moment*** Now how do we really treat people and after reading the above how 1. ...'Look for the wisdom of God in everything that happens in everything that you do'. Dr. Umar Abd-Alah
2. 'Oh Allah, give me eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad and a soul that never loses faith - ameen!3. 'I can do all things through God who gives me strength!'Have that as your daily positive motto and with firm belief go out and make your world a reality - and insha'Allah you will succeed! :) |
