...Apparently today is 'Human Rights Day'. Every singe day is a human rights day if we actually behave like humans and connect with our fellow human beings. Too much of who is right and who is wrong. Now imagine we are visited by the angel of death and our last moment is when we are online arguing with someone that they are wrong and we are right. What a way to end a life! So let's start respecting other and our differences and let's start to be a little more human insha'Allah. #HumanRights#NadiaLeonaYuns

...Be Human! It seems to be rare nowadays - so let's be the first to be human and help humanity.
..5.30am UK - Each new day brings new hope and new opportunities. The birdies have been chirping since as early as 3am. Ah, if only my whole street could step out for 30 seconds to hear them - its like no human exists here - just birds. They are up early because they believe and they hope and they are up for new opportunities. And so should we. A lesson for us all. Have a blessed day ahead
...There's a lack of humanity in our world. If we put aside our differences such as colour, religion, ethnicity, nationality etc then we have something in common - and that is being human. And as soon as we act upon being human the sooner we can start healing our world.
Be Human! Yes, we're all different. We're supposed to be. That's how God created us. But He (swt) also created us human. By being human we can see and feel another's hurt and pain. Celebrate being human. Love, duas and light to all :)
We all get the same 24 hours in a day and so did our pious predecessors. They did so much for Islam and humanity in such a short time - what are we doing? What's our excuse for not doing? Today make it the day to drop those excuses forever. Today take that first step in becoming the change you want to see in the world. Today let the genius within you rise. Remember, God created each of us for greatness. Don't waste this gift as those gone before us would wish they had just another moment. Say bismillah and begin. NOW! :)
...In our day-to-day we try to please our fellow beings in one way or another and look for approval. Human connection is vital for our existence of planet earth - but in all this connecting never forget the true connection to everyone and everything - Allah! Spend some time pondering, reflecting and connecting with Oneness.
Humans have many needs - one of which is the need to talk and the need to be heard.
However, too much talking can become bad for the soul! If we rely too much on the need to talk to our family and friends then we fall into a trap - always expecting our family and friends to be there for us, to listen to our complains and to pick us up - and when they are not there then we fall - and we fall hard, very hard! Yes, family and friends can give us good advice - but they can't change our condition or make the 'problem' vanish. "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah." (Yusuf, 12:86) Why? Because only Allah can truly help us through our suffering and grief and only He (swt) can inspire us to find solutions to our problems. Remain patient, trust in Allah and always turn to Allah for if He brings you to it then He (swt) will help you through it! |
