Khadijah (ra) - what a Woman!
She was the first CEO of her own businesses and had others dealing on her behalf, first Muslimah in Islam, the first wife of Rasool-Allah and a mother who raised some wonderful daughters. Subhan'Allah!
One of four inspirational ladies I will be talking about and drawing lessons from her life for us all.
'Who the Heaven am I?' One day intensive Islamic Personal and Spiritual development workshop for Muslimahs - UK & Global - Summer 2013
*Pre-Workshop lecture now available for bookings*
Truth Hurts! But the thing is that when we embark upon the personal and spiritual development journey we are in such a rush to get all the 'know-hows' and 'how-to's' to improve our lives that we overlook our bad character traits and almost always blame our situation and state on someone else. So step 1 on this journey; 'Get rid of all that junk and bad character traits of blaming others and decide to take full responsibility now!'. This is the best way forward insha'Allah.
One of the many aspects about coaching and mentoring clients that I enjoy is accountability. Not just for the clients but for myself also. How and why? Well, for the clients they know that someone is there to listen, guide and believe in them so they give it their all to achieve and work through their limiting beliefs - to break through them and break into freedom. For me it's through my own daily personal and spiritual development and so I continue to do 150% and give 150%. Its a win win situation. I grow as well as the clients - hamdulilah! :)
À ♥ without the Qur'an is a dead ♥. Ask yourself; 'How much time do I give to the Qur'an daily'. All the answers you're looking for are in there. Its the #1 self-help Book not a shelf-help book and if the shelf was made from wood then wood came from a tree that was living and breathing. Maybe the shelf is more at peace than the human soul! *Reflect*
Many a times when we don't hear from our loved ones we hurt deep inside and think a billion things. Many a times we get so busy that we 'forget' to check in on our loved ones.
This is how we are with the creation - but what about the Creator?
The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "My Lord says, 'If My slave comes nearer to me for a span, I go nearer to him for a cubit; and if he comes nearer to Me for a cubit, I go nearer to him for the span of outstretched arms; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' "
Bukhari Vol. 9 : No. 627
Yet we ignore our Rabb on a daily - we neglect our Ibaadah, we neglect our Salah, our Qur'an - we get caught up in the daily glitz and glam and then we say we are lonely, empty and heart broken.
If we don't call our loved ones and then we meet them we know we're in for some serious whooping!
But what about our Rabb? He is waiting to answer us - will YOU make that all important call to Him today? Because if we return to Him today how will we face Him?

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira: The Prophet (SAW) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that". Bukhari
