...The art of mastering anything/any field is to give yourself (enough) time and sure enough you shall have it mastered! You need to focus, attend classes, learn outside of class, do research, try, test and try again. Sometimes if we don't understand something we give up too quick. Give yourself at least 30 days minimum and each day spend at least 1 hour trying to master your art. Try it!

...Do everything with ehsaan - excellence! The reason why our pious predecessors achieved so much with so little is because they believed they could achieve -they believed God would help them - they understood their purpose and they gave it their all! So, forget 100% - its all about 150% ExCel Mode!
...Escape is easier than Change. That's why most the time we stay stuck in a rut. We want to change for the better but we're too afraid - what will others think? Can I do it or not? Etc, etc. So we escape - how? We procrastinate, put things off, do things other than what we should be doing. Escape is easier. But escape is temporary and we have to face reality sooner or later. Change is constant and continuous and it allows us to free ourselves from mental shackles and helps us move forward and not stay there in a rut. Make a decision right NOW to make that positive change. You owe it to yourself to be the better version of you insha'Allah. I did and hamdulilah that I finally did! :)
...Don't settle for less in life but work on yourselves daily to become the best - the unstoppable. "The minute you settle for less than you deserve, you get even less than you settled for." [Maureen Dowd]. Strive for excellence in everything and give it your 150% every single time insha'Allah! :)
There's still time to make THIS #Ramadan2012 the best insha'Allah!
Will YOU cease the moment??? "Let those who have failed to make the most of this month (Ramadan) end it with good, because actions are (judged) by their endings." Ibn Rajab "Excel in what you can do now, you will be forgiven for what has passed. The lesson is not in the rough beginning but the good end." Ibn Qayyim Its the new trend and if you've got it then your at the top end!
"The term originated in an IBM study...Turns out that ambition alone is mediocre; ambition plus intellectual humility is the winning combination. Humbition is made up partly of ambition: being really fired up, energized, and evaluating yourself highly in terms of the impact you might be able to have on your team, in your organization, on the world around you. And then, humbition is also having a genuine sense of intellectual humility.” So...STOP being mediocre and get into ExCel mode! Become Humbitious in everything that you do - both deen and duniya! |
