...There's always two sides to a story. However, if we all take responsibility for our own side we might just save the misunderstanding and heartaches. We have become accustomed to a certain way - the lax way. This is not what our deen teaches. Let's all take responsibility for ourselves insha'Allah and we'll see how our lives are positively improved. What's your thoughts on this?

...There's some people out there who will never like you, will always be envious and jealous of you, spiteful, nasty, mean and just down right evil. But it's ok. You're not the problem at all. They have internal issues to deal with and are projecting it on you. So instead of hitting back or retreating - step up and be the real you. Sometimes i'm misunderstood and my assertiveness has been confused with arrogance (all my life!). But i'm just being me and doing my time here and then i'll be gone. I'm still happy being me. So get up, step up and be YOU because ladies#DiamondsAreForever and gents #LikeABoss
...Don't let anyone tell you that you can't! Don't let anyone steal your dreams. Guard them with your life and go make them happen. Now is when you make them happen iA!
...Set the intention, say bismillah and begin the day. Energy flows where intention goes. Today focus on what you actually want and need. Just focus on that. Be clear on what you want. If you don't want something don't even think about not wanting it. Yes, even thinking about not wanting it will bring you exactly just that - and it's actually happened all last week - not nice. So, anyways - i'm switching into laser-focus-mode on what i want and need. You in?
...Even the light attracts the moth and draws it close - but when it goes near and touches the bulb it gets a shock (or meets its ultimate demise). Yet the moth goes back for more - again and again. This is like blind following. Don't become so drawn to the fake light that it stops you from experiencing the real Light for yourself. Some will enchant you with their sweetness - yet inside they are bitter themselves and need help. When your fake light diminishes you'll be lost. God is the Light Everlasting and when you find Him for yourself you'll never be lost again.
...Be courageous and listen to your heart. God will guide it to what you need to do and what you need to let go off. Just be calm and listen. Sometimes people will tell you that your heart is weak, makes mistakes, is foolish etc etc. But the fact is when you say that, you're running away from your own inner knowing that God placed within you. Don't blame the heart like it's something bad and needs to be punished. Learn to listen to it. We ask God; 'Guide us to the straight path' and when He (swt) does we go in a frenzy and blame the heart. What's up with that? If you truly believe that God will guide you to the straight path then listen to His guidance - listen to that 'knowing' within you. Or stay stuck in a miserable rut. Your choice. Choose well! :) ...Some people are ready to change. They are ready to make positive changes in their lives, live upon the deen and prepare for their best akhirah. These people value the gift of life. They value time and they value their soul. They know that God is with them and He (swt) will help them as soon as they take that first step. Some people are not ready to change. They like their comfort zone - of complaining. They don't like hard work or the hustle. They want someone else to come and wave a magic wand and make it ok whilst they stay there not doing anything. I have news for you dear soul - it doesn't work like that. And if you're in my world then it's all about action. Your choice. Join me. Or stay where you are.
Excuses hold us back from doing the right thing. Excuses hold us back from making the right decisions and choices we know we need to. Excuses stop us in our tracks and leave us confused, ashamed, guilty. Excuses stop us from unleashing our true potential. We only have one life here. Right now make the decision to fight through your excuses. Yes it's hard. Even I have to fight them daily. But together - you and - and with God by our side we can rid our excuses forever. Ready? Bismillah-ExCel! :)
...What's stopping you from being the best version of you? What's stopping you from doing great things for yourself and humanity? Is it fear? Do you feel that you are not worthy/good enough? Fear of what others will think or fear that others will think/say who are you to do the things you do? That's exactly what stopped me also. But then I always knew I was created for something special - to do something special. And so are YOU! God created YOU for greatness. Just read the Seerah of Rasool Allah and the biographies of all our Pious Predecessors. Who lead the Europeans out of the Dark Ages? Who invented the basic things we use today? That's right - our Pious Predecessors. They knew they were created for greatness and so they used their time wisely. This Ramadan make a positive change in your life - say NO to fear and punch it in the face with taqwa, ikhlaas and niyyah. Will you step up to your greatness? Humanity needs YOU!
...Don't be afraid to be Muslim - especially in Ramadan. If you want to pray, then pray. If you want to read Qur'an then read Qur'an. If you want to attend tarawih, then attend tarawih. If you want to signup to an online class this month then go ahead. Don't be afraid. Has your heart and soul always wanted to get closer to Allah? Then just do it. Doesn't matter what others say - whether you wear a hijaab/niqaab or not - whether you have a beard or not. Listen, the way i see it, what you do behind closed doors is between you and Allah! I know that just like me you want to pray, read Qur'an, talk to Allah, become better. So go ahead. I'm not better than you! If people call you hypocrite then let them. Maybe this month is the month that creates miracles in your life. And if you are a 'practicing' (how i dislike that word!) Muslim then how about encourage those who don't usually attend mosque, pray, read Qur'an. How about support them for a change? What's with the arrogance? Drop it! No one is guaranteed Jannah - not me nor you, except by His mercy! Let this month bring positive changes to all our lives.
