..."Seek knowledge, because seeking it for the sake of Allah is a worship. And knowing it makes you more God-fearing; and searching for it is jihaad, teaching it to those who do not know is charity, reviewing and learning it more is like tasbeeh. Through knowledge Allah will be known and worshipped."
[Ibn Taymiyyah Rahimahullaah]

...'GET OVER IT!'
They say (family and friends). But only you know how it feels and how much it hurts. Whether its losing a loved one, not getting a job, failing an exam, you feel like a failure and not good enough. Remember this life is only temporary and a test. The biggest test is yet to come and if we fail that then we'll truly lose. Keep tawakkul in Allah. Why would Allah, the One who created you, leave you alone? He inspires you to answers - look deep within - pick yourself up - even if you have no one, you have Allah. The return is to Him. Work hard for your akhirah - your ultimate goal is Allah and Jannah al-Firdaus - fix your relationship with Him and He will fix everything else. ...In both your deen and duniya. You need to believe it and then act upon your belief, iA!
"A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals." Larry Bird Allah has blessed YOU immensely. So be thankful and grateful and utilise all your skills today to achieve something great insha'Allah! The three main forms of energy are physical energy, emotional energy, and mental energy. Each one needs to be looked after for optimum success!
If even one of these is less than 100% then you will suffer. We will suffer in our work/studies/relationships/ibaadah - all of them... If you're suffering from low energy in any one of these areas then identify who or what is bringing you down and then keep yourself away from it or them. Trust me, it's for your own good! Don't allow others to steal your energy - there are many who will take from you and leave you low in energy - leave you empty! We need to be in top form in all three areas so we can succeed both in our duniya and akhirah insha'Allah! ...We use a mirror to see how good we look and if we're presentable to the world. Let's look into our heart and soul and see if we're presentable in front of Allah! Just the way we take care of our outer appearance, we need to take care of our 'inner appearance' - we need to nourish our hearts and souls and purify them.
Remember, we can beautify our outer appearance as much as we want to but if our inside is ugly and evil then eventually that will show through. Allah is the One who counts - not the people in the duniya... In today's world we are too competitive.
Healthy competition is good. It keeps those creative juices flowing. But when all our energy is focused on just competing with others then we don't live our own lives fully. Don't compete with others but compete with yourself. How? Whatever you do in your deen or duniya start doing more. Add a little on each day. If you pray all your fard then start praying your sunnah. Compete with yourself to better yourself. Look up to those who are doing more and better than you. Be inspired and motivated by them to create your own perfect life and to prepare for your best akhirah iA. You only have one life in this world - don't waste it competing and living someone else's - be the best version of YOU! Give 150% to everything you do. |
