Everyone wants good health and a healthy life. And why shouldn't we want that? Being healthy keeps up upbeat and enables us to achieve our dreams with less effort and makes us more happy. Yes, being ill is a purification and the Prophet (pbuh) said; "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn." Hadith Bukhari - however this does not mean that we don't look after our health and be careless about it. Sometimes when life gets in the way we do forget about our health and maybe it is the last thing on our minds - however if you've ever been ill or had a serious illness (may Allah grant you shifa) then you know the feeling. I do too. In 2010 when i discovered a little lump on my neck just a week before my 30th birthday little did i know it would be life transforming. Transformed i am indeed! The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Take benefit of five before five: your youth before your old age, your health before your sickness, your wealth before your poverty, your free-time before your preoccupation, and your life before your death.” Hadith Hakim My immune still plays up and i still need to take extra care - especially in cold months. I'm into all things health and wellness and i'm done with medications - personal choice. I look towards alternative medicine and supplements. I was introduced to a range of health and wellness products last year and i have been using them since October 2013 My family also use them and want more! (from the young to the old) I want to invite you to have a look at them and see of you would be interested in them. Click here 'Health and Wellness' to see the products and then email me on webeinspired@selfaware.com for my recommendations. I want to see you happier and healthier in 2014 - that is what i make dua for myself and that is my dua for you! :) If you're like me and you're done with medicines and want to look into an alternative then have a browse insha'Allah. So click here 'Health and Wellness' and let's see what you'll want for your New Year healthy regime insha'Allah! Allah (swt) said: "O you who believe! Eat of the good things that We have provided you with" [2:172] (partial)

So we're in Day 6 of 2014 already - how's it going for you so far? Ok, well, i'm not talking about 'New Years Resolutions' to be exact (and if you do make them - to each their own - and I do pray it's a success for you - I believe in you!) but I'm talking about actually getting up and just making it happen! See, what happens is that - and of course I myself have been guilty of this many times - we just talk, talk and talk and never really get up and make it happen. A dream is exactly just that a dream and can only become a reality when we get up, put in 150% ExCel Mode hustle and make it happen! I have had many dreams in my life and walhamdulilah many have become a reality (one of them is We Be Inspired - an organisation dedicated to Islamic Personal and Spiritual development). Yes we keep full trust in Allah however we have to get up and do our part - God helps those who help themselves. I mean honestly we've all sat formal exams once in our life at least and we know that to get a grade A we have to put in the study - it won't miraculously just happen - unless you're an uber-genius and someone who already knows the answers to the questions before you go in to the exam room - then where were you when i was at school/college/uni eh?! Anyways, it's all about getting up and making it happen - simple. Right, well, it sounds simple - i know - but sometimes can become a challenge to implement. Well, fear nada as the Queen of Inspiration and Motivation *Your Truly* is here to quick-fix it! Follow these quick simple tips. Just before you begin though - make the intention, check your sincerity level and now bismillah... Today's Tips and Action Points: 1. Have You got yourself a journal or notebook yet? Well hurry and get one - it's a MUST! - Here is where you write your before thoughts, after thoughts, progression level, random doodles and hearts and cars and whatever else. It's all a process - trust me! :) 2. Talk about it to your trusted souls, to yourselves, your angels, to God. Do have at least one talking session - it's good to share and get ideas back from trusted souls. - Plan it out in your journal or notebook - and yes God is the best of ALL planners (Remember the hadith where the man asked RasoolAllah “Should I tie my camel and have Tawakkul (trust in Allah for her protection) or should I leave her untied and have Tawakkul.” Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Tie her and have Tawakkul.” Hadith Tirmidhi (I think we could do with a Masterclass on this subject - what you think?) 3. Now just go do it and go make it happen! - Take whatever is first on your list in your plan - don't discriminate your list - and just go ahead and do it. This applies to all industries and areas you want to work on. Well I did say it was simple - it's just us - we like to complicate things for ourselves! Remember the verse from the Qur'an; "Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves." (13:11 - partial). Time to kick start 2014 on this new mantra and make it happen now! Did this post help you kick start your; 'I will do it now!' mode? Comment below and let me know :) [PS: VIP Days are now open for 2014 - this is where you get to work with me in person via Skype (if you are abroad) or in your locality (UK) and we work on creating the life you want now - family/personal/relationships/biz - you choose. To find out more, available dates and fees email me now on webeinspired@selfaware.com] Here's from me wishing YOU and your loved ones a blessed 2014! Each moment is our only moment that knows the moment that was, is and will be. And each moment could be our last! God has put us here for a greater purpose - for ourselves (our worship to Him (swt) alone) as well as for the greater good of humanity. Now is all we have! Now is when we live our truest purpose and now is when we make those dreams come real. Enough of just talking and planning. Talking is good. Planning is better. But acting it and making it real is even better! We plan and God is the best of ALL planners. We make the intention, say bismillah and put in 150% of ExCel mode to make it real. We let go of the attachment - of owning the end result. That end result is not in our hands - as God decides whether it shall be. And when God says Be - then it shall be! 'Wait, so what is the point of it all or working hard for it then?' I hear you say. Well, what else are you going to do with your life eh? And anyway Heaven must be won - it's not given to anyone on a silver plate! And all those dreams, wishes, ambitions. hopes you have - well they won't be worth to you if you don't actually get up and make them happen now. Enough of time wasting, wallowing in self-pity, and living in the past. The past has gone - learn the lessons! The future? Well, tomorrow is not here yet - so just make dua that when it does come by then it is a blessed one. This moment? Now? Well, that's all YOU and I have! So, make the intention now - yes right now - that you're going to create positive changes in your life, live your best life helping humanity and prepare for you best akhirah now. It is now or never. There's a reason why YOU are reading this! I don't know your life story - but I know that we are connected - and I know that God wants you to read this right now as YOU have something great to create with your life. Are YOU ready to cease this year with your mind, body and soul? With blood, sweat and tears? Then welcome aboard 2014. May God grant you success and happiness in all areas of your life! Onwards and Upwards! Comment below and let me know if you're on this now, OK? :) Ps - We Be Inspired - One Life, One Chance, One Vision - live it now! :) Who is your role model today? Who do you look up to?? Who do you follow and try to emulate??? We humans have been created as social beings and that's where we thrive and survive. We look up to others who inspire us and are dong great things and we want to be like them. It could be anyone from our pious predecessors - all the way to movie stars, musicians and celebrities. When it comes to the celebrities we know everything about them and can go on forever. But what about our pious predecessors? How much do we know about them and how far are we willing to travel to learn and then emulate them? Listen, none of us will be like our pious predecessors or even the celebrities we follow. You and I are uniquely created and each of us has that something special to offer the world. And just as we look up to celebrity females for life tips and hints (sometimes real bad examples!) we need to look into our pious predecessors. Ready to take a journey into the past and get lessons from a great woman in Islam who has a whole surah in the Qur'an named after her, was the mother of a Prophet AND has valuable lessons to teach us today? Introducing Maryam (as) - the Virgin Mary - the Mother of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and MY role model! Although there are not many books written on her (I have one i will recommend in the class) I attended an online 9 week tafsir class about 2 years ago and after re-visiting the tafsir I picked up so many personal development lessons from just the first 30+ verses. My jaw dropped - how did I not see this before? Well, maybe because right now is the right time and right now is when it was written and decided from above that I should teach you all this Masterclass. This is an online 90 minute (max) Masterclass where we will go through the story of Maryam (as) and then take out the personal development gems and dissect them to see how we can apply them to our life today. There are lessons in God-Consciousness, awareness, trust, keeping secrets, hope, guarding one's soul, pain-relief and so much more! Exactly - a lot to cover. We will not cover the verse by verse translation (as I said above I attended 9 online lessons) however that will be available for anyone offline to book. You will get the replay link (so no worries if you can't attend live, but you MUST register and purchase a ticket) as well as a pdf handout with all the personal development gems. I'm really excited about teaching this class on Monday 30th December at 9pm GMT insha'Allah. Register Here for this Masterclass! [Ps - This class is for sisters only - so brothers reading this post please share this post with the women in your family and let them know about the class and don't worry i will have another Masterclass end of January 2014 which will be for everyone insha'Allah!] So, which of you sisters is attending this Masterclass? Let me know! :) ...To live a successful, productive, powerful, energetic, fulfilled and spiritual life you have to 'Be Your Authentic Self.' ***What does this mean?*** It means being who you were created to be. It means your soul being happy in your body. It means accepting your flaws and shortcomings and working to better yourself. It means celebrating your strengths and achievements. It means having an 'Attitude of Gratitude' - thanking Allah (swt) at every point and really truly appreciating from within - from the soul. And when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks , I will give you more, but if you are thankless, verily! My Punishment is indeed severe.” [Surah Ibrahim 14:7 - partial] ***But what if the 'Authentic Me' is not so good?*** Simple - you work on yourself, daily! Everyday we work on ourselves to make ourselves better - there is no such thing as perfect but YOU are the perfect YOU and there is only one of you - so nurture the YOU. 'You say that you are just a body but inside of you is something greater than the universe!' Imaan Shafi You were put in this world as a unique being so celebrate that and allow yourself to grow, learn, develop, mature and enjoy the one life you have in this world. If you spend a life time of trying to be like someone else then you are only harming yourself as you will never be happy or fulfilled in any area of your life. Don't compare your life to anyone else - as each one of us has a unique journey and we are all travelling upon different roads. When you are not the authentic you then you are being one way to one person and another way to someone else - a bit like lying - and we know that lying ultimately hurts only us. So go ahead, make a vow today to start being the authentic you and working on your daily self-development - at least 30 minutes each day. When you are being your authentic self then all the doors of opportunities will open up to you, you will make a greater impact in the world and you will be the complete person that you were created to be. Today's Tips & Action Points: 1. Grab your pen and notebook/journal and write down who you are, who you have been up until now and who you want to be from this moment onward. 2. Schedule in at least 30 minutes a day (to start with) to read up on personal development material (or go through our previous blog posts) and start to put those teachings into practice. 3. What is your unique purpose in this world and what will you do to make this world a better place? Now go work it! :) I think this following dua is beautiful. On the coming of dawn the The Messenger of God (may peace be upon him) used to say in his prayers: "O Allah (God), illuminate my heart with light, and my eyes with light and my ears with light and let there be light on my right and light on my left. Let there be light above me and light below me, let there be light in front of me and light behind me. O Allah, make me a light" Leave me a comment below and let me know what message you took away from this post and let's become an active community here who help to inspire and motivate each other towards goodness insha'Allah! :) One of the injustices we can do to ourselves is not believing in ourselves and just always listening to others. And others may not always be our best supporters (even if we think they 'should'!). But, are we the best supporters for our loved ones who have dreams and goals they want to achieve? Hmm.... We're in December and 2013 is almost over. Now is the time to have a quick look at those goals you set for the year. Be realistic. Things happen. They are supposed to happen. I've completed some and some I am restarting this month (my studies - after a year break!) to get a head start. I ain't waiting til 1st January - this moment is all I have! We are a working progress. Let this be a reflection moment and let this be a trigger to get us focused again and back on track insha'Allah. Now would be a good time to look at our goals and achievements so far. Remember though, each moment is our only real moment - this moment is all we have and this moment could be the moment you decide to make some positive changes in your life! Always keep the end in mind - Jannah al-Firdaus. Do something phenomenonally awesome right now. Start up your very own 'Dream Team' and become part of someone's dream team! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said : "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself." Related by Bukhari & Muslim In this dream team you have your supporters, mentors and coaches. And you would be the same in someone else's dream team. We all need A* players in our world - on our side. God created us social beings and it is in social settings we thrive and excel. "Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression." {Qur'an; 5:2} (partial) This dream team will be there to support you through all your ups and downs and will encourage you to excel. What you think? Go on, start your dream team right now :) Action Point & Tips: 1. What do you want to achieve in your 'Dream-Become-Reality' Life? - Grab a pen and paper and draw a circle in the middle of the page. - Slice the circle into however many areas you want to work on in your life (for each person it is different - it could be work, family biz, or it could be work, family, biz, health, kids etc) - Rate each slice of your circle out of 10 - so for example you know health is very important to me so right now i would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. - Look at the top 3 areas that you want to work on right now and for each of these ask and answer the following questions. a) What do i want to achieve in this area of my life? b) What three things do i need to do right now to achieve them? c) Who can help me get what i need to achieve this now? 2. Who do you want in your 'Dream Team'? - These could be living or dead. You know why? There's many who have passed on yet their legacy and message continues - just like Rasool-Allah, all his companions and all our pious predecessors. They have numerous works and books from the seerah all the way to their biographies and inventions - so add them into your team. - Living - who are they? Are they those who have already achieved what you want to achieve? Those you admire and look up to for their moral, ethics, beliefs and principles? Or are they someone living on your street who is an unsung hero and has so much to offer you in terms of advice and nuggets. Never underestimate who we can learn from insha'Allah. - Write down the names of all these people and what they have to offer you in what you are trying to achieve for yourself. 3. Whose 'Dream Team' do you want to be part of? - Has anyone approached you asking for advice and nuggets? Not just those who always seem to have issues but those who really want to achieve something and look up to you. - Contact them and offer to mentor when you can. Of course you set your own time and days when you can be available but let them know that you are here to help. - Could you teach others this message about creating a dream team? If so, go ahead and do so now - share this post. Do you already have a dream team? Are you ready to create yours now? Comment below and let me know :) “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” Charles Dickens [Ps - I will be opening up VIP Day's where you get to work with me for a day one 2 one. To pre-enquire drop an email to webeinspired@selfaware.com] ...One of the hardest things for any human being is to admit they are wrong! We rather spend our lives justifying why something happened, how it could have been avoided, oh and wait for it - the big one, why it's someone else's fault! There's many reasons why we don't want to acknowledge that the fault may be totally and completely ours. One word..... EGO!!! In one of my coaching sessions with my client I was told how one of her employees turned and twisted everything around - everything she had said - and then blamed it back on her! Even after she had explained what she was saying her employee refused to listen. This cost her a lot for her business - time, money, energy, valuable business contacts! Have any of you had that happen in a business capacity? What about your personal life? Misconceptions? Misunderstandings? Especially when you know someone for such a long time and you have been friends or work colleagues and then all of a sudden everything ends. How many times have we messed our lives up because we 'refused' to listen to the explanation or insisted that it was the other persons fault? And the emotional pain that comes with such situations - Ya Allah - it really does mess us up! The employee used what we call 'Victim Mentality' and then made out to be the innocent victim who always gets 'hurt' and get this that same employee had a pattern of similar behaviour in all areas of their life! I previously wrote an in-depth article on this whole topic called; 'I'm a Victim - Get ME out of HERE! Do have a read of it insha'Allah We need to learn emotional intelligence. Seriously! It's not about IQ anymore or what top university you studied at or company you worked for but it's about being emotionally aware and having emotional intelligence - knowing our emotions and dealing with them effectively. I will be teaching a Masterclass on this subject in my Success Club and I hope you can join me insha'Allah (details coming up soon). One of the ways to become emotionally aware or have greater awareness about our life and purpose is to know our Creator. "And be not like those who forsook Allah, so He made them forsake their own souls: these it is that are the transgressors." {Surah Al Hashr 59:19} (partial). If we spend our time getting to know our Creator by reading and studying the Qur'an, studying ahaadith and learning the meanings of Allah's names and attributes then we achieve a greater awareness about ourself and it stops us wasting time on petty stuff and in fact it helps us to understand why certain things happened or happen in our lives and how to heal our wounds. Of course this doesn't happen overnight. It's a process. So right now give yourselves the permission to understand your live events and your purpose of creation and to take a step towards healing your wounds - and before you say it - YES it CAN be done! Many have done it before us and are living abundant lives. And when we do take this step then all the jealousy, envy, hatred and diseases of the heart will be rectified insha'Allah. Abu Hamzah Anas bin Malik (may God be pleased with him), who was the servant of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “None of you truly believes (in Allah and in His religion) until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself” [Bukhari and Muslim] Again this really is a process and sometimes it comes with maturity but if you are reading this right now then you have no excuse to ignore it but to go deep within yourself and start to make those positive changes now insha'Allah. You and I are students of life and we are a work in progress - so let's work this. And anyway if you are someone who is prone to 'It's not me it's you' then seriously you'll only attract the same like-minded people and miss out on all the good opportunities in life and create a bad record of yourself wherever you go - and I know that you don't want that for yourself. So let's fix up before we get fixed up! * Action Points & Tips: 1. Grab your journal or notebook, set aside 30 minuets for self-reflection and reflect! 2. Write down what it is that is hurting you - is it being neglected, ignored, rejected (this one is my issue - and sometimes it can still bring me down - but alhamdulilah I've learned a lot in the past 3 years). 3. What situation caused this to happen - i.e. someone you loved ignored you etc. 4. Take a deep breath and release and then let them go - accept it happened, it's done, lessons learned, time to live in the now (this may be hard at first - but as I said it's a process so start now insha'Allah). 5. Need professional help? Then it is available! Have some maturity please to help yourself - we know from the ayah of the Qur'an that Allah will not change a condition of a people until they don't change it within themselves. You have an opportunity right now to help yourself heal and live a good life that you were created to live. What are you waiting for? We need to become a productive Ummah and learn maturity. Our pious predecessors achieved so much with so little and here we are today that we can't even help ourselves - when in reality we can. Ask yourself; 'Am I happy like this?' Now say bismillah and get working on yourself insha'Allah. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Have you experienced someone who is always the victim of everyone's behaviour? Are you the 'everyone always blames me' type or are you someone who has been both? Let me know insha'Allah. Comment below and share this post :) [Pssst - I've been both types in my life!!!] ...Usually it's when we have 'lost' everything that we find 'God' or understand His value in our life (after all He is our Creator). But I think every moment has something to teach us - something of value - which we can actually apply in our life (usually immediately). This past week I have learned a lot of different lessons. Lesson in humbleness, lessons in asking for and receiving help, lessons of realising who sees my worth and who doesn't. My mission here on planet earth is actually quite simple. My passion in life is to help people creatively find their unique purpose in life and to align it with our ultimate purpose of worshiping God alone (not associating any partners or equals with Him as He (swt) alone is Enough!). I've also learned lesson of those who really do believe in me and are helping me to nurture my gifts, skills, talents and abilities which God has loaned to me so I can do some great stuff for our Ummah, Humanity and all Creation. If someone does not see how you can benefit them or their organisation then it is their loss - let it be - you tried - I tried - let it be now. For when we are completely emptied of everything we realise that God is Enough. We do all for Him alone. To Him we belong and to Him is our return. You continue being you. Ask God to purify your intention and sincerity at each moment and ask Him to bless your time. Just do what you were created to do. It is not about fame or celebrity status - and I think we should all be rich and financially free so we can help those who have nothing. You and I have a lot - alhamdulilah. Once again I have learnt - God is Enough for me! :) ...You know something...God is always helping us. It's just that we get too busy and comfy in our own little bubble that we don't realise He is helping us. I mean, even waking up alive is from Him alone. Once we develop self-awareness we start making those positive changes. We have to take the first step now. But sometimes we need a helping hand. We need someone who understand us and can help us - show us some opportunities that we may have overlooked. As humans we can get so caught up and wrapped up in our emotions that we lose sight of what is ahead of us - opportunities! I know they say that when one door closes another opens. But I think that in the grand scheme of things all doors of opportunities are always in front of us - we just get caught up in the shiny object syndrome or obsessed with one idea and forget the other doors even exist. You feel me on this? God is always ready to hep us - always. And as soon as we are ready to take the first step He (swt) will do the rest and I know that you've already experienced this in life :) If you're ready to take that first step right now then I invite you to explore a new business opportunity which I joined and now recruiting a team. Start the week on a positive note - Bismillah-ExCel! • Are YOU a stay-at-home or single mum with young kids struggling to pay for bills and put food on the table? • Are YOU a student who wants to be in control of your student fees and finances and make an extra income? • Are YOU someone sick of your job and want to take on your next challenge now? Then YOU could be the one for my awesome new team! YOU MUST BE... • Highly positive, open to explore, coachable and ready to make a difference • Age 18+ • UK & Global, female/male You must be wondering why I started a new biz when I already have countless brands and why this post is called 'For My Parents'. Well this new biz is for my parents.... I have elderly parents who have given me everything and I failed in my promises to give them what they deserve. Now enough is enough. I will be responsible with my time and energy and will work hard to provide for them. And I want to share this opportunity with you now and show YOU how you can do it too insha'Allah. This is NOT a get rich scheme!!! I'm an entrepreneur - I know the risks of running a business. You put in the hours you will see the results and with Allah by our side we will succeed. Listen, I know it's not easy staying on top of bills and a family to look after. I feel you. I go through this too! My parents deserve a good life - and they have taught me to help others. I live at home with my parents and they are my first teachers. They don't care who you are or where you are from - if you need help - they will help. And you don't want monetary handouts - what will that achieve in the long run? Allah has given you the ability to earn a halaal income - that's what my parents have taught me. This is for them - to ease their burdens in their old age and to pay forward what they have taught me - to help others help themselves! This is my 'WHY' - why do I do what I do? To see my parents have a good life. What is YOUR why? Why do YOU want to earn an extra income or start a business? Set your intention now and make dua for sincerity and then apply to join my 'Diamonds-Are-Forever' Business Coaching & Mentoring Program right now. To apply to join my team email: Nadia.Yunis@mail.com <Subject Line: Business Opportunity> Isn't it time you took responsibility for you and explored this new opportunity now? :) [PS: I have a lot of people contact me to join my team - I need to close down the program so I can focus on those who have applied and joined. So if you are ready to explore then contact right now as this opportunity is open for the next 12 hours only!] Wishing YOU and YOUR loved ones a blessed, productive and successful year ahead :) We don't usually 'celebrate' or 'wish' each other when it is the Islamic New Year - but why not? I agree that our Beloved Prophet (pbuh) and his companions did not wish each other - and I'm not adding a new thing into our deen (before you go all crazy on me) - however in a world where our youth are confused and constantly told 'halaal/haraam' - we need to teach them about our deen - we need to teach them about the Islamic months and their significance. We need to relate to them. In a world where our fellows humans are constantly harmed or tortured by fellow humans we need to spread some peace love and lots and lots of duas. So my dua is that Allah (swt) showers His infinite mercy on each of us - puts barakah in our life, time and purifies our intentions and sincerity. We have one life here on planet Earth and each moment is our only moment. Make each moment count. Aspire to inspire before we expire. Live a life on purpose with purpose. Do something great for yourself, your family, the Ummah of Rasool-Allah and the entire humanity. Be Creative. Be Passionate. Be on Purpose. [Ps - We have a special Masterclass coming up insha'Allah to set the tone for the year ahead and my new baby niece came into the world today!] |
