Our prayers are the most important - they are a direct connection and link to God almighty.
He (swt) hears and He (swt) sees and He (swt) answers. We should plan our day around our prayers and not plan our prayers around our day. They say we should have our 5-A-Day for optimal health and strength. We should! I also say; 'Don't forget your 5-A-Day, Fajr, Zuhur, Asr, Maghrib and Isha Prayers. Let's pray before we are prayed upon!

Allah (swt) says n the Qur'an;
''If You Are Grateful, I will give you more". (Al Qur'an 14:7) *Reflection Moment* Are we truly grateful for all of the blessings? Do we continuously give thanks or continuously ask for me? Our Rabb is Most Merciful and He answers us - but do we answer His call? We need to check ourselves before the day arrives when we get checked. So let's remind ourselves what the Qur'an is teahcing us and what Allah (swt) is saying; ''If You Are Grateful, I will give you more". (Al Qur'an 14:7) ...There is so much to be thankful and grateful for - wouldn't you agree?
If you're reading this then you're amongst the blessed as there's many in this world who don't even know what an internet is or what a pc/laptop looks like. Yes as humans we have our moments and we rant on and complain - and I guess every so often it's ok to let the steam out - but really why is it that we forget to give thanks? Think of 10 things that Allah (swt) has blessed you with. For each of the 10 be grateful and give a heartful and soulful shukr to Allah. And say... 'Alhamdulilah ala kulli haal!' It could be worse - but right now, it's all good! :) ...Each night spend 15-30mins reflecting on your day - the good, the bad and the not so pretty and what changes (if any) you need to make iA.
...After that plan your day ahead - check your diary/to-do list and goals for the next day and be prepared before hand iA. ...Each night and each morning renew your intentions for the day ahead - that all is for Allah's sake alone - and ask Allah to grant you sincerity in everything that you do iA. Remember though - we plan but Allah is the best of all planners. So if you're plan doesn't go to plan then don't beat yourself up. Just chill, its all good iA! Know that YOU did your best - but at that moment Allah had something else planned for you - so smile and stay on track! :) Sometimes we disrespect ourselves so badly and treat ourselves like our own enemy!
Why? We wouldn't treat our parents or our loved ones like that so why are we so mean to ourselves. We should learn to respect ourselves. How can we expect others to respect us when we don't respect ourselves? "You say that you are just a body, but inside of you is something greater than the Universe." Imam Shafi (rahimullah) Yes, there is something great inside of you! Your body is just a covering that looks after your greatness - your soul! Treat it with love and respect - its who you really are and who you will always be! Your soul has a right to be loved and nourished and it's nourishment is the Qur'an. Love your soul :) That which comes easily goes easily.
We don't value it and we don't put all our passion in to working on it. Work hard for what you believe in and what you dream about. Some say; 'In an ideal world such and such would happen or I would do this and that.' But I say go out there and make your own ideal world happen - what's stopping you? The only limits are the ones we place on ourselves. Yes people may laugh and discourage us - but those are the same people who won't do anything to change their condition. Don't let it come easily and don't let it go easily - work on it and reap the rewards - taste the beauty of your own hard work! ...Imagine if we could naturally heal and we didn't need any medicine.
Possible? Definitely! Quantum Healing does just that! It's hands-on, natural 'Energy Healing' and I've attended the course. The body has the ability to heal itself - however due to illness the white blood cells rush to the injured part of the body that there isn't enough for the rest. This is where Quantum Touch Energy Healing comes in. We all have the ability to learn this skill and Allah (Swt) grants shifa to the ill. To learn more ---> http://www.muslim-coach.com/quantum-touch/ It's time to Heal The World :) ...Every night before you go to bed spend at least 15 to 30 minutes to reflect on your day - what were your aims for the day - did you achieve all your goals - how was your ibaadah level - what is the one new thing you did - have you moved one step closer in fulfilling your dreams.
If we don't account for our day we become lazy and complacent - we lose focus, and we become less determined - our passion levels drop and we start to lose respect for ourselves because we are not focusing and feel guilty - again it all goes back to our values and what we value and how much we value it and what will we do to achieve it. Make it a habit - every night - 15 to 30 minutes and during this time you can also prep for the day/week ahead - get your to-do list sorted and get your sub-conscious mind working on what you will do the following day when it comes. We need to account our selves and prepare ourselves for the big day when we will get judged and all our limbs will bear witness - what did we do with them and did we use them for the sake of Allah or did we abuse them. Reflect each night and let's fix up before we get fixed up! Ever found yourself wanting to do something so bad but you have a billion negative thoughts in your mind and so you don't do it?
Stop the negative thoughts - they are exactly just that - thoughts and YOU have the power within you to stop the negative thoughts. The mind is a muscle and needs daily exercise - so exercise it with positive thoughts, positive energy and positive people. The more you spend your time thinking; 'Should I or should I not' then the longer those negative thoughts will linger - they will become your beliefs - so stop them now and right this moment - this exact moment - go do that one thing which will help you make your dreams manifest - help your dreams become reality insha'Allah. Right now - Just Do It! Just do that one thing and watch how you create a chain reaction in your system, your mind and watch that positive energy flow. You won't stop here - but you will continue. You owe it to yourself - go make your dreams a reality - dream with your eyes open and right now; 'Just Do It!'. ...I always say; 'Respect is not given it is earned'.
We have to earn respect in life. We all want to be respected but how much respect do we give to others? No, really, how much? *Reflection Moment* Reflect on all your relations - friendships - family - etc and be honest with yourself - how much respect do you give them that you demand so much in return? We should treat others how we want to be treated ourselves. But sometimes we become selfish and we become; 'I want, I want'. Don't worry - you will get! You will get your fair share in life. But become selfless and respect others. Respect your values and be determined to succeed at your goals - put all your passion into it and give 150% of your focus on that goal - do a little everyday towards that goal - your dream - and insha'Allah you will succeed at it. Respect yourself and your dreams - everything will happen at its own sweet time - so don't give up and keep trying. Respect is something that each individual wants - so work on being a good person - work on respecting others rights, choices, views and opinions and watch how everyone will respect you and your goals and your dreams. Respect is earned not given - so go out there and work hard to earn that respect - by respecting others. |
