...One of the many blessings God has bestowed upon us is speech. Yet many of us are not eloquent in our speech. We need to turn back to the Seerah and biographies of our pious predecessors to learn eloquence from them. There is much power in speech. Actors, politicians, leaders invest in this areas so they can influence change. What are we doing to influence change? We need to develop eloquent, powerful and an influential persona insha'Allah. Remember, the Ummah of Rasool-Allah is strictly 150% of the best! We need to live up to it!

...The eyes are a reflection of what's in our heart and soul. Sometimes what the heart and tongue won't dare to say - the eyes say it all. We need to work on our hearts to purify them, because if there is any evil in our hearts then it will come through our tongues and even if our tongues bite themselves, the eyes won't be able to hide it. The eyes can do more damage than we can imagine. The eyes are a gateway to our heart and soul. We don't want our eyes to cause anyone any harm. Make dua, ask Allah of your wishes and He'll answer them. Don't hate on others...
...Sometimes we really need to control our tongue - either use it for good or keep it quiet.
"As long as the tongue is occupied in Dhikr, it will be safe from unbecoming speech and lies, because it never keeps quiet. Alike it is with the heart, if it is not occupied in love of Allah then it will love a creature." Quote: Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyya Rahimahullah Our pious predecessors have left us with many wisdoms to help us even today in 2012. We have no excuse. Let's take heed and implement these lessons iA. ...We need to learn words, language and sentence structure.
Why is it that one tongue can make and another can break? Don't blame the tongue as it'll bear witness to how WE used it. Learn language and use it responsibly - don't abuse it - because it only takes a couple of words in a sentence to ruin a lifetime of everything. And I know we've ALL experienced this in life. May Allah bless our tongues with goodness only - ameen :) |
