...There's always two sides to a story. However, if we all take responsibility for our own side we might just save the misunderstanding and heartaches. We have become accustomed to a certain way - the lax way. This is not what our deen teaches. Let's all take responsibility for ourselves insha'Allah and we'll see how our lives are positively improved. What's your thoughts on this?

...Books! Our silent best friends who are full of wisdom and advice and always there waiting to comfort our souls and teach us new things, who believe in us and encourage us to believe in our dreams. The most loyal yet most ignored. They give hope to torn hearts and broken souls. They are alive just like us. They grew up in deep forests of wisdom and then sacrificed themselves so they could give themselves to us. They have been with us each step of our life from childhood. Yet we push them away as though they are insignificant. A reflection of how truly insignificant we have become through our own vices.
..Trying to be someone else is actually a waste of the person who you are, who you can be and who you're supposed to be. Celebrate being you. There's something uniquely special about you and the world needs that special thing that only you have!
...Sectarianism breeds hatred - deep rooted type of hatred - because everyone believes they are right and they are the only one's entitled to Jannah. We forget that we will ultimately only enter Jannah by Allah's mercy. Its time to be human again. Everyone has a right to life - as our life was given to us by God and not our fellow humans. If it wasn't for God's mercy we wouldn't even exist. Reflect and think.
...As the day unwinds and its time to rest take a moment to be grateful and thankful for all that happened today. You did your best. Learn from today. And if you can't think of things to be grateful and thankful for then at least be grateful and thankful that you're still breathing. Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah :)
...Don't become a victim of blind loyalty but follow the truth. When your hero/heroine falls it'll devastate your soul leading to either severe depression or severe anger - and you don't wana fall down either pit. You're worth way too much for all that. Always stand for the truth!
...They say when one door closes another opens. Truth is all the doors were always open. The door of opportunity is always open. Its what we choose to focus on. So we focus on one door because we feel it serves us the best. Let's keep tawakul in Allah and be always open to opportunities because if we just focus on one door it might disappoint us big time...usually it does and then we kick ourselves!k here to edit.
...It has to get worse before it can get better! Why? Because therein lie life lessons and wisdom which will help us through our days. If it doesn't get worse we won't learn the lesson and we won't be ready to move on. So, don't count your tears - count your blessings. Let those tears comfort your soul and know that it will get better. Remember who created us? He's holding us and guiding us. Really, the onus is on us - to learn the lesson and improve our live and tread the path upon the deen - the siratul mustaqeem - the straight path. We want Jannah al-Firdaus right? Let's work for it! :)
Do YOU say; 'Someday?' Here at WBI we say; 'Today!' Cease THIS moment and THIS opportunity and do what you have to do. Because if you don't do it NOW you won't ever do it! So, today - make it count!
Please become a support system for your family, friends, random souls, everyone...
Put your issues aside for a moment and help another soul. Queen Mama just inspired me! Neighbour aunty is in her idat period (time after one's husband dies) and she's got so much she can handle right now because a few kids (who are in their late teens and thirties) have learning disability and are causing havoc. And a few hours chatting to Queen Mama every few days helps her because she gets to unwind. She's got a friend who won't judge her and will just listen to her. Its just so sweet masha'Allah. Please don't be too selfish. We all fall, we all hurt, we all cry. But someone else is in it much deeper than us. Be there for someone in need. Allah bless y'all! ♥ |
