The great things and truths in life are the simple ones.
Moral: Keep It Simple! :)

...There is both lightness and darkness within us. There is both goodness and evilness. Chose light over dark and good over evil. Whatever is written in your qadr will come to you. Be patient and supplicate to the Almighty to shower His mercy on you.
...Why waste your day on bickering and fighting? Gossiping? So-and-so-did-this-or-that? Or the famous self-proclaimed fatwah battles on fb? What do they achieve within your 24hrs? Are you happy? Don't fight a losing battle because the only important battle to win on a daily is within ourselves - within our heart and soul - to tame them and train them. All of us - me and you. Let's fix up before we get fixed up! Clock is ticking for us!
Take the initiative and be bold! Just go do it! Stop thinking so much. Stop fearing so much. And stop telling yourself you can't when you can! Believe in yourself - if you don't, no one else will! If you don't ask you won't know! Be yourself! Be courageous! Be you! Say Bismillah and go for it! Allah loves you and He's got your back! Let's go! (Ps - that's my self talk lol - now YOU try it!) :D
...Don't compare yourself to anyone except yourself. Today make a promise that you will work on all areas in your life and improve - you will do better than what you do because you can do better iA - and you will make positive changes in your life. In the end it's just between you and God. There is only one of you - so why waste your life trying to be like someone else. Whatever you do - today you will do better iA!
...'GET OVER IT!'
They say (family and friends). But only you know how it feels and how much it hurts. Whether its losing a loved one, not getting a job, failing an exam, you feel like a failure and not good enough. Remember this life is only temporary and a test. The biggest test is yet to come and if we fail that then we'll truly lose. Keep tawakkul in Allah. Why would Allah, the One who created you, leave you alone? He inspires you to answers - look deep within - pick yourself up - even if you have no one, you have Allah. The return is to Him. Work hard for your akhirah - your ultimate goal is Allah and Jannah al-Firdaus - fix your relationship with Him and He will fix everything else. ...Cherish the gifts God bestows upon us. Everything is a gift - He gives and He can take - so appreciate everything. Family and friends - heart, body, soul, organs - life itself is a gift from our Rabb. As you lay to sleep, or wake up for the morning, or are working through early afternoon or relaxing in the evening - wherever you are in the world reading this - just stop, close your eyes, take a deep breath and say 'Alhamdulilah Ala Kulli Haal' - Thank You Allah for everything - for Allah asks us in Surah Rahman; 'Which Of Your Lords Favours Will You Deny?' Let's not deny our Rabb and His favours upon us and always have an attitude of gratitude! :) ♥
On a scale of 1-10, how happy would you say you are today?
If you're not happy, do you know the reason? Sometimes we create little dramas in our head - to fill in empty space and to preoccupy our precious time. We don't really have a valid reason to be unhappy. Happiness is a choice and starts with our own state of mind and our attitude and our perceptions. ..."The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes along their way." You have all that you need to be happy - so say; 'Alhamdulilah ala kuli haal' and just be happy. This moment is all you have - so be happy this moment! :) •Number 1 matters!
•Think about yourself! •Put yourself first! •Forget the rest! ...Etc, etc and etc! This is what we're always told and taught. And whilst it is good to care for oneself and work on one's own achievements - becoming selfish really doesn't do anything for our heart, soul, duniya and akhirah. We're left empty, lonely and unfulfilled. "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.” [Bukhâri] Whatever you want for yourself make sure you ask God to bless all your loved one's with the same and more. It's part of our emaan, deen and strengthens society. By becoming a selfless giver you receive more - you receive barakah - you receive duas in abundance and you'll feel content inside. Have a Blessed Friday and give a little today - duas for everyone, everywhere insha'Allah :) It is true to say that we as a human race are too quick to judge!
We don't look at all the facts and we blindly follow everyone else. Our pious predecessors had something very important to teach about this concept. It is reported that ‘Abdullâh b. Al-Mubârak said; It is right that an intelligent person does not undervalue three [types of people]: the scholars, the rulers, and [his Muslim] brothers. Whoever undervalues the scholars will lose his afterlife, whoever undervalues the rulers will lose his worldly life, and whoever undervalues his brothers loses his good character and conduct. Al-Dhahabî, Siyar A’lâm Al-Nubalâ`17:251. Undervaluing can also mean judging without knowing or being prejudiced. Not respecting someone's status and achievements. Being jealous and envious. As my mother always say; 'When you point a finger at someone just remember how many fingers are pointing right back at you!' |
