The real struggle is the struggle of the soul - to remain on the path of righteousness. The sooner we stop looking at others, their profiles, their daily lives and updates, the judging then the sooner we can start fixing ourselves. This struggle is constant and continuous. Our pious predecessors have written many volumes on this subject - here at 'WBI' we barely touch the surface (I'm studying this area in depth and will bring you courses and workbooks on this subject.) Let's fix up before we get fixed up insha'Allah!

...Don't make a promise that you can't keep. Don't break a promise once you keep. Let's think before we make a promise to someone - because its heart breaking and soul shattering when a promise breaks. Let's be realistic and say I will make dua for you (that I can fulfil my promise). We should be open in our communications from the start insha'Allah :)
...After hardships come ease. Never lose hope or faith. Hold on tight to the rope of God. Keep calling out to God. And let's create a support system for each other. I mean when it comes to negativity we are always there for each other but when its time to support each other in positive ways we're not there. Let's give a soul some hope today and let's be there for them through their hardships. We may need the support some day too.
...If your soul is hurting and you need some therapy and relief then please listen to the tilawah of the Qur'an. Instead of spending the time alone thinking what could have or could not have - just turn to Allah. After salah and reading Qur'an the best soul/heart therapy is listening to the Qur'an. Really, its amazing how it can calm and soothe you. Try it :)
...God is Love and He is Light. Fill your hearts and souls with Love and Light and your days will be full of peace, joy, love and light! ♥
"The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure. How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again? O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure." Ibn Rajab al Hanbali
...Maybe, just maybe, through the pain and the struggle, through the tears and the hurt, there shall be a clearing, where one can see the light, though deeply piercing the eyes, it goes straight to the heart and enlightens the soul. Keep trying dear soul - keep walking the straight path - it will lead you to your destination - to the One you're yearning for.
...When our hearts and souls are corrupted, everything in our life - our words, actions, thoughts are corrupted. The glitz of this duniya can easily throw us off track. This #Ramadan2012 gift yourself with a pure heart and soul. Make a promise each day to work on it so we can achieve. We have to take the first step as Allah helps those who help themselves. Will YOU help yourselves today? Let's turn to Allah before we return to Him.
Go easy on your souls. All children of Adam are sinners. We all make mistakes and they are in fact lessons in disguise.
“My sin burdened me heavily. But when I measured it against Your Grace, O Lord, Your forgiveness came out greater.” Imam Shafi'i Let's work on our heart and soul daily and strive to be better with each day - and Allah (swt) will help us on this journey. ...Being overly fashion conscious can be bad for the soul! Its good to dress good and smart - but good and smart doesn't mean that it has to break the bank account. Looking and feeling good for ourselves can boost self-confidence, but true self-confidence comes from being self-assured within. Once we accept who we are and are happy then everything is in harmony with our true nature. If you are a slave to fashion trends then your soul will always be chained. Release yourself from this inner prison and be happy being YOU! :)
