What is 'Disease'? Its when the body is at 'dis-ese'. Our internal state affects our external state. If we work on healing our emotions, our heart, our soul then insha'Allah our external will also heal because our external reflects our internal state.

...Don't make a promise that you can't keep. Don't break a promise once you keep. Let's think before we make a promise to someone - because its heart breaking and soul shattering when a promise breaks. Let's be realistic and say I will make dua for you (that I can fulfil my promise). We should be open in our communications from the start insha'Allah :)
...If your soul is hurting and you need some therapy and relief then please listen to the tilawah of the Qur'an. Instead of spending the time alone thinking what could have or could not have - just turn to Allah. After salah and reading Qur'an the best soul/heart therapy is listening to the Qur'an. Really, its amazing how it can calm and soothe you. Try it :)
...You know something? We are just too broken inside! Our souls are broken! We go through so many different issues in life - sometimes we don't have the chance to fix things or our emotions and we go through life adding on to it. Its like our back garden. Imagine we allowed it to get littered and never cleaned it up. That's like our hearts and souls. We've allowed them to get littered and clogged with emotions, hurt and pain. And then we go on and hurt others with our words and actions. Its time to clean up our hearts and souls insha'Allah - else we'll become junk and Allah doesn't create no junk!
...God is Love and He is Light. Fill your hearts and souls with Love and Light and your days will be full of peace, joy, love and light! ♥
...You know - there's a place in our heart - a section - which is only for Allah! I mean, you can be so close to your loved ones(s) and tell them everything - but yet there is still a place in the heart which is just between you and Allah and no one else. Its been like this forever and forever this place will be. So what can we do? We can nurture this special place in our heart. We need to use it more. Talk to Allah more. Connect with Him on a more deeper and spiritual level through this special place. ♥
...You are special and you are precious! Your heart is precious so just the way you look after your physical being, look after your spiritual being. Look after your heart. Hand your heart over to the One who created it with sincerity and ask Him to guide it towards goodness and insha'Allah He will. Yes, tests and trials and heartbreaks will still happen - we wouldn't be human if they didn't. But the key is to make one stronger within oneself and then you'll be inspired by Allah to protect your heart. Devote your heart to the love of Allah - pray, read Qur'an, fulfill all the rights ordained by our Rabb and insha'Allah things will become easier. Ok, easier said than done? At least try it :) "The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure. How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again? O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure." Ibn Rajab al Hanbali
...Maybe, just maybe, through the pain and the struggle, through the tears and the hurt, there shall be a clearing, where one can see the light, though deeply piercing the eyes, it goes straight to the heart and enlightens the soul. Keep trying dear soul - keep walking the straight path - it will lead you to your destination - to the One you're yearning for.
...When our hearts and souls are corrupted, everything in our life - our words, actions, thoughts are corrupted. The glitz of this duniya can easily throw us off track. This #Ramadan2012 gift yourself with a pure heart and soul. Make a promise each day to work on it so we can achieve. We have to take the first step as Allah helps those who help themselves. Will YOU help yourselves today? Let's turn to Allah before we return to Him.
