We're All The Same...
"At the end, the billionaire gets buried next to the street sweeper. Whilst chasing success lets not trample over the people that come our way; no matter what position they have in society. It's their status in front of Allah that counts!" Sheikh Imtiyaz Damiel

Every day you wake up and open your eyes you have witnessed a miracle.
Every day is a chance to get closer to Allah - to perfect your ibaadah and abstain from sins. Every day is a chance to mend wrongs and make things right. Every day say; 'Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal'. Are you thanking Allah daily? 'Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal!' Because we really do have a lot to be thankful and grateful for. We need to worship Allah - He az wajal does NOT need our worship.
"Do not become proud merely because you worship often, for consider what happened to Iblis after he spent a great deal of time worshipping." Hasan al-Basri May Allah (swt) keep us all steadfast and grant us sincerity and purify our intentions in all that we do - especially our ibaadah, ameen. How do we deal with people? Are we kind and considerate or do we always want things our way only?
"The manner you deal with people in is the same manner Allah will deal with you, both in this world and the hereafter" (Ibn al-Qayyim). ***Reflection Moment*** Now how do we really treat people and after reading the above how Sometimes Allah breaks your spirit to save your souls.
Sometimes, HE breaks our heart to make us whole. Sometimes, Allah allows pain so we can be stronger. Sometimes, Allah sends us failure so we can be humble. Sometimes, Allah allows illness so we can take better care of ourselves. Sometimes, Allah takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything HE gave us. Make plans but understand that we live by Allah's grace. ...Who do YOU call on when YOU need help??
Sure, fam, friends, teachers etc can help (and so can WBI iA!) - but where does our ultimate source of help come from??? This has inspired me - hope it inspires YOU too! “Oh you who believe, if you help Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet”. (47:7) And... ..."He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things." [65. Surah At-Talaaq :3] Don't never feal as Allah is always near! :) So call on Him today and see your life transformed and changed for the better iA! Allah (swt) says n the Qur'an;
''If You Are Grateful, I will give you more". (Al Qur'an 14:7) *Reflection Moment* Are we truly grateful for all of the blessings? Do we continuously give thanks or continuously ask for me? Our Rabb is Most Merciful and He answers us - but do we answer His call? We need to check ourselves before the day arrives when we get checked. So let's remind ourselves what the Qur'an is teahcing us and what Allah (swt) is saying; ''If You Are Grateful, I will give you more". (Al Qur'an 14:7) ...There is so much to be thankful and grateful for - wouldn't you agree?
If you're reading this then you're amongst the blessed as there's many in this world who don't even know what an internet is or what a pc/laptop looks like. Yes as humans we have our moments and we rant on and complain - and I guess every so often it's ok to let the steam out - but really why is it that we forget to give thanks? Think of 10 things that Allah (swt) has blessed you with. For each of the 10 be grateful and give a heartful and soulful shukr to Allah. And say... 'Alhamdulilah ala kulli haal!' It could be worse - but right now, it's all good! :) |
