...Each night spend 15-30mins reflecting on your day - the good, the bad and the not so pretty and what changes (if any) you need to make iA.
...After that plan your day ahead - check your diary/to-do list and goals for the next day and be prepared before hand iA. ...Each night and each morning renew your intentions for the day ahead - that all is for Allah's sake alone - and ask Allah to grant you sincerity in everything that you do iA. Remember though - we plan but Allah is the best of all planners. So if you're plan doesn't go to plan then don't beat yourself up. Just chill, its all good iA! Know that YOU did your best - but at that moment Allah had something else planned for you - so smile and stay on track! :)

...Every night before you go to bed spend at least 15 to 30 minutes to reflect on your day - what were your aims for the day - did you achieve all your goals - how was your ibaadah level - what is the one new thing you did - have you moved one step closer in fulfilling your dreams.
If we don't account for our day we become lazy and complacent - we lose focus, and we become less determined - our passion levels drop and we start to lose respect for ourselves because we are not focusing and feel guilty - again it all goes back to our values and what we value and how much we value it and what will we do to achieve it. Make it a habit - every night - 15 to 30 minutes and during this time you can also prep for the day/week ahead - get your to-do list sorted and get your sub-conscious mind working on what you will do the following day when it comes. We need to account our selves and prepare ourselves for the big day when we will get judged and all our limbs will bear witness - what did we do with them and did we use them for the sake of Allah or did we abuse them. Reflect each night and let's fix up before we get fixed up! |
