The Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و آله و صحبه و سلم said:
"If you truly put your trust on Allah, He would provide you {sustenance} as He provides the birds; where they leave in the morning with an empty stomach and return back with a full stomach." {Musnad of Imam Ahmad & Sunan At-Tirmidhi} So, who will put all your trust in now? :)

Who do we place our trust in?
"Enough for me is Allah. There is no God but He. In Him I have placed my trust, and He is the Lord of the great throne." [Qur'an; 9:129] Next time anything doesn't go to plan then close your eyes, take a deep breath and focus on Allah and know that He created us and He will get us through. Just hold on tight to His rope and never give up! :) ...We need to learn words, language and sentence structure.
Why is it that one tongue can make and another can break? Don't blame the tongue as it'll bear witness to how WE used it. Learn language and use it responsibly - don't abuse it - because it only takes a couple of words in a sentence to ruin a lifetime of everything. And I know we've ALL experienced this in life. May Allah bless our tongues with goodness only - ameen :) "Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it
you can never get it back." Harvey Mackay Surah Asr explains the importance of time. And what a better explanation than the Qur'an and the words of Allah! It explains that over time we are in loss if we don't fix up. And how do we fix-up? Do we spend our days doing fun stuff and enjoying the glitz and glam? Or do we do something which benefits both our deen and duniya and prepares us for the best akhira? Surah Asr explains that over time we are in loss except those who; 1. Believe 2. Do Good Works 3. Enjoin Upon One Another The Truth and; 4. Enjoin Upon One Another Patience May we all implement this and truly embed it in our souls - for truly over time we are in loss unless we work towards those four goals above! The World is three days:
As for Yesterday, it has vanished, along with all that was in it. As for tomorrow, you may never see it. As for today, it is yours, so work in it. Hassan al-Basri Moral - make the most of today and all the precious moments - keep smiling as today is all we have! :) Got your WBI notebook ready for today's lesson? Good, good...
"Never believe that a few caring people can't change the world. For, indeed, that's all whoever have." Margaret Mead So believe in yourself and believe you can make some change - firstly, positive change within yourself and then to your world, iA! :) ***Gratitude Check***
WBI notebooks ready please... "Be grateful for what you have, while in pursuit of what you want". Jim Rohn Important lesson because we often forget all the things we already have and whilst in search of new horizons we forget to utilise, appreciate, benefit and give thanks for what we've already been given. Why in such a rush? Enjoy the things Allah has blessed you with and iA He (swt) will give you more. If we rush then we will forget all the precious moments and we may be left with nothing. So say; الحمد لله على كل حال for everything we have and keep tawakul that Allah (swt) will bless us with more, iA! Courage and Character...
Two very important qualities for all humans to have and nurture insha'Allah. "People with courage and character always seem sinister to the rest." Hermann Hesse But at WBI we say; 'Be Courageous and fight your battles head on!' Ready? Good, good! :D How important is your self-respect to you? "They cannot take away our self-respect if we do not give it to them". Mahatma Gandhi Our self-respect is important to us - let's not hand it out to anyone anywhere - let's protect it! :) 'Obstacles are lessons in Disguise!'.
So don't worry if it falls apart the first time round - there was a reason why it fell apart and there are lessons to learn. These obstacles actually teach us valuable lessons and open up new doors for us! |
