...They say that; 'What doesn't kill you just makes you stronger!'. But it sure hurts like crazy before we get stronger. Do we even allow ourselves to get stronger? Or do we wallow in it forever and keep falling in the same cycle of negativity - like its a trap? Allow yourself to go through the emotions. Don't block it in. Talk to family, friends, therapists. Recognise your own emotions and situations and find a positive way to deal with them. And it may even be a good time to reconnect with Allah. Why? Because in our day-to-day we get mixed up in so much that we lose that spiritual connection with our Creator. Its also His way of calling us back to Him. Think about it...

...Man can plan and plot - but God is the best of ALL planners. Keep faith in Him - even when it gets really tough - because He has already ordained a way through for you. If you lose hope you'll fail to see the signs. Keep faith. Deep within your heart and soul keep that flame of hope burning. Its when you give up and blow out the candle you'll be lost in darkness. Keep and ounce of faith burning within and you'll soon see a way through. God is always with us...always...
It's THAT time of year AGAIN insha'Allah :)
YES! Its time to Goal-Set for your year ahead! Well I've heard from many coaches that they review and set their goals in Ramadan. Its Eid, so why not review your goals from last year and set some new ones or re-define your goals from last year? I've already set mine through Ramadan and it has inspired and motivated me to achieve. I will write the plan for the year ahead on A3 paper insha'Allah and then bismillah :) There's still time to make THIS #Ramadan2012 the best insha'Allah!
Will YOU cease the moment??? "Let those who have failed to make the most of this month (Ramadan) end it with good, because actions are (judged) by their endings." Ibn Rajab "Excel in what you can do now, you will be forgiven for what has passed. The lesson is not in the rough beginning but the good end." Ibn Qayyim "The hearts of the righteous people are filled with longing, lamenting from the pain of departure. How can a believer not shed tears upon its [Ramadhaan] departure when he does not know if he will live to see it again? O Ramadhaan! Be gentle, the tears of your lovers are pouring out. Their hearts are torn from the pain of your departure." Ibn Rajab al Hanbali
...A Knowledge Seeker is one who is always seeking from the vast ocean of knowledge. His/her journey doesn't stop after a course or two - but continues till he/she breathes their last. A seeker seeks from one who is above him/her, below him/her and equal to him/her. Seek and insha'Allah you will find...
Let's see what we think and feel about ourselves.
Complete the following sentence (comment in the box) with the first word or sentence that comes to your mind. Don't stop and think - just the first thing. Type it and THEN reflect on what you wrote. Our life is what WE make it - so now's your chance to see how YOU can make positive changes in your world insha'Allah. Ready? Cool... 'My Life is...' 'Anything you resist, persists'.
So its time to help ourselves. Because God helps those who help themselves. Let Go! Yes, that's simply it! Let the emotion go. Acknowledge it, feel it, understand it and now let it go. Don't say; 'Oh, but I can't - easy said than done'. We are responsible for what happens to us. So do the above simple exercise of acknowledging, feeling, understanding and letting go and see how happy you feel. Try it - you won't know if you don't try :) (And yes the solutions to all our issues in life are usually very simple - its just us as humans we like to complicate things for ourselves!) "In my mind, I've always been an A-list Hollywood superstar. Y'all just didn't know yet." Will Smith
And he IS a superstar! And so are YOU if you believe it enough and work for it enough. Its the #Last10 - time to pump some more ibaadah iron and strengthen those ibaadah muscles insha'Allah! :) #L10I "Dear Allah, I pray that whoever reads this message shall have your comfort, joy, peace, love, and guidance. I may not know their troubles, but you do. Please keep protecting us. Ameen!"
